Obituary for Paul Edward Quinty

Paul Edward  Quinty
Littleton-Paul E. Quinty, 69, of Littleton, died Friday in Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a brief illness.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Janet (Jarzinski) Quinty of Littleton, his mother Teofila (Korkuc) Quinty, of Ayer, his brother Peter Quinty of Shirley, sisters Susan Delcore of Nashua, NH, and Patricia (Quinty) Stern of Shirley, and his nieces and nephews; Kin Jarzinski, Todd Jarzinski, Michelle Churchill, Brian Quinty, Jessica McCarthy, Todd Swieca, and Laura and Erin Stern, and several grand nieces and nephews.
He was born in Ayer. Paul is the son of the late Robert A. Quinty.
Paul received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Lowell Technical Institute.
Mr. Quinty worked as a General Engineer for the Department of Defense at Hanscom Air force Base in Bedford, and previously at the Federal Regional Center in Maynard. He began his career working at the Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth in 1967.
Paul was a skilled jigsaw puzzle solver, and photographer. In his spare time he enjoyed travelling and tending to his many flower and vegetable gardens.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour to be held Wednesday December 31, 2014 from 10-11AM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street in Auburn. His funeral will follow at 11 Am in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery in Auburn.
