Condolence From: Bob and Cathy Richard
Condolence: Bob,

Enjoy meeting all your Golden Retrievers at Rainbow Bridge!

We will certainly miss your wit and charm. Truly a one of a kind guy. Always made us smile even when he dropped his taxes off the day before tax filing deadline.

Condolence: Dear Judy and Family, I have had the pleasure of working with Bob for about 5 years and what a pleasure it was. He was truly an inspiration and just plain fun to be with. He had a special way about him that always brightened everyone's day whenever he visited our office. His wit was unmatched and his jovial personality always shone through. I enjoyed his daily 'check in' calls to me and it always would lead to great conversation as well as plenty of stories and jokes. He often spoke of you, Judy, with great pride and affection. It was obvious the deep love he felt for you. He loved working and he did so right to the end. I was amazed over the last 6 months that he just kept right on working. He told me that 'this thing is not going to beat me'! And though he is now gone, it truly did not! His spirit will live on forever. I think my wife summed it up pretty good when she heard of his passing by stating 'He did on a bad day what some men can't do on a good day'. I believe that is the truth. Godspeed to you Bob and may we meet again someday. Sincerely, Paul Mandeville, Universal Tag, Inc.

Condolence: Judi:
Alice and I were so very sorry to hear this news on Sunday about Bob. I think you know that although it has been 13 years since we lived on the same street in Northborough, Bob and I continued to be in touch via phone multiple times every year and we were in constant contact via email - I was usually on the receiving end of multiple emails from Bob daily, most of which were passed along to my buddies for a good laugh, as well.

We had a special bond that also moved to my girls and to my niece and nephews that lived in Northborough. Everyone loved to see Bob and he was always the life of the party. He would often "crash the party" at my brother's house whenever my family and I were in town from either Minnesota or California and he would be there within minutes of my calling him to tell him we were at their house. He certainly had a great love for aviation and we always started out every phone conversation by me saying "This is Kilo Fox Bravo one niner one nine coming in hot and heavy on Runway 33, am I cleared for landing?" Without missing a beat, and without saying hello, he would immediately go into Air Traffic Control mode and he would bring us in for a safe landing. If the kids were in the car, we always did this on speaker phone and everyone was laughing like crazy!

We will all miss Bob dearly but, I'm glad that we have so many great memories. His Air Traffic Control routine will live on with us! With sympathy, Steve and Alice Schultz
