Obituary for Diane Marie Knowlton
AUBURN- Diane M. Knowlton, 66, passed away peacefully June 23, 2015 at Worcester Health Center.
Diane was born and raised in Worcester and was the only child of the late Everett and Evelyn (Holden) Knowlton. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1967. She later continued her education at Salter Secretarial School and worked several years as a Medical Transcriber before retiring.
Diane leaves several cousins including Dick, Judy, Shirley and Cindy who were devoted to her in the last years of her life. She also leaves her good friend Bernie. Diane was a cat lover. She also enjoyed playing cards and was an avid crocheter.
At her request, a private graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. Donations in Diane's memory may be made to Needy Cats P.O. Box 213, West Boylston MA 01583. Britton -Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St, Auburn is assisting the family with arrangements.
