Theodore J "Ted"  Willson
Theodore J. “Ted” Willson, of Waltham formerly of Boylston, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in his home. He was 49.

Born on September 21, 1966 in Worcester, he was the youngest son of Donald R. and Beverly A. (Runge) Willson. He graduated with the class of 1984 from Tahanto Regional High School. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Tufts University in 1988 and had a successful career as a computer software engineer. He was most recently employed by Patient Keeper Inc. in Waltham.

Ted lived life with vigor and passion. He was not afraid of adventure. If he wasn’t jumping out of airplanes or riding his motorcycle, he was often found in the company of his friends. He was known for his humor and wit, and he was a true and loyal friend to many.

He will be missed dearly by his mother, Beverly A. Willson of Boylston; his siblings, Paul D. Willson and his fiancée, Robin Martin of Rutland, Matthew S. Willson of Boylston and Jennifer E. Willson of West Boylston; two nephews, Brandon P. Willson of Mooresville, NC and Brett R. Willson of Rutland; and a niece, Bethany E. Willson of Millbury. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Donald R. Willson who died in 1996.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Ted’s family on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Saint Mary of the Hills Church, 630 Cross Street, Boylston where Ted’s funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston. After the services all are invited to gather at Cyprian Keyes at 284 East Temple Street in Boylston to regale their stories of Ted. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave, Suite 6, Waltham MA 02451-8750 (www.heart.org).
