AUBURN- Mae L. (Baker) MacLeod, 91, of Auburn, died peacefully in her home after an illness.

Mae was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Fred and Ada (Bennett) Baker. She graduated from Worcester Girls Trade School.

She had worked for the Wright Line Corporation for 17 years before she retired. In her retirement years, she with her family owned and operated The Plaster Boutique in West Boylston.

Her beloved husband, George E. MacLeod died in 1995. Mae is survived by her children, Donna E. MacLeod with whom she lived, Linda Powers and her husband, Richard of Leicester and Jeffrey MacLeod and his wife, Debra of Palmer; also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, George, Mae was predeceased by five siblings.

At Mae’s request her funeral and burial will be private. Burial will take place next to her husband, George in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn is assisting the MacLeod family with arrangements.
