Elizabeth T. “Betty” (Scace) Davis, 98,
of Worcester, formerly of Auburn died Tuesday November 24, 2015 after an illness.

Her husband, Ernest K. Davis died in1959. Betty leaves behind, her children, William J. Davis and his wife, Margaret of Norfolk, Kirk A. Davis and his wife, Jeanne of Douglas, Ernestine Chaleki of Mineral, Virginia and Elizabeth L. Kraft and her husband, Daniel of Boston; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Thomas, Julie, Timothy, James Adam and Matthew; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Olivia of Pittsfield and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Ann; a brother, William; a sister, Esther and son-in-law, Robert Chaleki.

She was born in Pittsfield, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Smith) Scace. She graduated from Pittsfield High School and attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She had had been employed by Acorn Graphics and Heffernan Press both in Worcester as a proof reader.

Betty had several hobbies, including, reading, word puzzles, and she was an avid gardener who enjoyed her home and gardens for many years.
At Betty’s request funeral services and burial will be private. BRITTON-WALLCE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St, Auburn is honored in assisting the Davis family with these arrangements.
