Angela M  Ferro (Pizzi)
WORCESTER/SHREWSBURY- Angela M. (Pizzi) Ferro, 88, of Shrewsbury formerly of Worcester died Sunday, January 31, 2016 in Knollwood Nursing Center surrounded by her loving family.

Angela was born in Bisceglie, province of Bari, Italy, daughter of the late Sylvester and Mary (Spina) Pizzi. She immigrated to the United States in
1948; where she met and married Vincent M. Ferro. Together, they started their family and resided on the Bell Hill Section of Worcester. She had worked for many years at Worcester Fuller Brush and Hersh Neckwear Company both in Worcester.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel - St. Ann Parish in Worcester. Family, Faith and Friends was Angela’s creed she lived by. She loved cooking and being surrounded by family; she also enjoyed reading and watching her daytime Soap Opera’s.

Angela was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Vincent M. Ferro in 1973. She leaves her two loving children, Donna M. Ferro of Worcester and James M. Ferro and his wife, Alice of Shrewsbury; two grandchildren, Michael V. Ferro of Shrewsbury and Jen Molinari and her husband, Robert of Auburn; three great grandchildren, Bobby, Callie and Matthew Molinari all of Auburn; a sister, Elisa Ridgewood of England; former son-in-law, Mark Trimmer of North Andover and many extended family members and friends. Besides her husband, she was also predeceased in 2009 by a brother, Antonio Pizzi .

Angela’s family wishes to thank the entire staff at Summit Elder Care and Knollwood Nursing Center for their compassionate care, kindness and support shown to Angela and her family during her residence there, it will never be forgotten.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Angela’s family on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 9:00-10:15 AM in the BRITTON-SHREWSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Her funeral Mass will follow and be celebrated at 11:00AM in Saint Mary’s Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
