Obituary for Claire A. Beaulieu (Progin)

Claire A. (Progin) Beaulieu, 84, longtime Auburn resident died Sunday, March 27, 2016 in the Life Care Center of Auburn with her family by her side.

Claire was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Graves) Progin. She graduated from Commerce High School.

Her beloved husband of 37 years, Wilfred E. “Bill” Beaulieu died in 1992. She leaves a son, William E. Beaulieu of Auburn; a brother, Kenneth Progin of Worcester; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Steven and five siblings, Alton, Roland, Francis, Beatrice, and Edith.

She had worked as a credit clerk or several years at the Chamber of Commerce Credit Bureau in Worcester prior to raising her family. Later in her life she joined the worked force again and worked for Equifax Services several years before retiring.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Claire’s family on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 9:00-10:30 AM in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St, Auburn. A funeral Mass celebrating Claire’s life will follow at 11:00AM in Saint Joseph Church, 189 Oxford St, Auburn. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
