Carole Ann Hester, 81, of Worcester died Saturday, July 9, 2016 in Beaumont at the University Campus after an illness surrounded by her family.

Carole was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Thomas J. and Grace A. (Campbell) Hester. She graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester.

She had worked for over 50 years as a case specialist for the Worcester District Court retiring in 2008. She was a member of the Retired State, County Municipal Employees Association of Massachusetts

Carole leaves two brothers, James J. Hester of Shrewsbury and Thomas J. Hester, Jr. of Dennis and two sisters in law’s Carol and Kathleen; six nieces and nephews and ten grandnieces and grandnephews and many wonderful friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Carole’s family on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 am in the BRITTON SHREWSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Her funeral Mass will follow and will be celebrated at 11 am in Saint Mary’s Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Entombment will be at Saint John Mausoleum in Worcester.
