BOYLSTON- Kimberly Anne (Anderson) Tanner, 48, of Boylston passed away unexpectedly in her home on Sunday, August 28, 2016.

Kimberly was born in Mineral Wells, Texas she lived in Boylston most of her life. She graduated from Tahanto Regional High School with the Class of 1986.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Clayton D. Tanner; her parents Gary L. and Carol A. (Menard) Anderson of Boylston; her in-laws, James T and Maria E. Tanner of Mississippi; a brother-in-law, Patrick B. Tanner and his wife, Wendy of Texas; an aunt, Maryanne Kennan and her husband, Ronald of Port Charlotte, FLA; also survived by several nieces, nephews, many friends including Jackson. She was predeceased by her brother Timothy M. Anderson.

Kimberly greatest passion was for her family and her animals that she cared for including Jackson. She enjoyed spending time collecting primitive antiques and was an artist in her own right. Kimberly was a kind person with an old soul that will be missed by everyone that knew her. She had a great fondness for the elderly, always checking on their wellbeing and spending time with them. Kim leaves behind a legacy of laughter, fun, enjoyment and warmth and the unwavering ability to see the possibility in anything.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Kimberly’s family on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 4-7 PM in Saint Mary of the Hills Church, 630 Cross Street, Boylston. A funeral Mass for Kimberly will be celebrated on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 10:00am in Saint Mary of the Hills Church, 630 Cross Street, Boylston. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Worcester Animal Rescue, 139 Holden St, Worcester, MA 01606 or to Sterling Animal Shelter, 17 Laurelwood Rd, Sterling, MA 01564 or the VCA Northborough Animal Hospital, 286 W. Main St, Northborough, MA 01532.
