Eleanor J.  Lundberg
Eleanor J. (Payne) Lundberg of Shrewsbury died unexpectedly on Thursday November 24, 2016 after being stricken at home.


Eleanor was born in Douglas daughter of the late Edgar and Elizabeth (Kuzara) Payne. She graduated from Commerce High School.

She had worked for many years for Allegro in Worcester before she retired.
Eleanor had many interests such as reading, shopping, watching her favorite New England Sports Teams and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Eleanor’s husband, Kenneth C Lundberg died in 1985. She leaves her loving children, Scott Lundberg and his wife Susan of Whitinsville, Bradley Lundberg and his companion Nancy Cormier of Shrewsbury, Sarajane Cormier and her husband Daniel of Shrewsbury; four sisters, Barbara Cameron, Gladys Lundberg, and Brenda Payne all of Florida and Agnes Chianese of Auburn; also, survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Ken, she was predeceased by a son, Kurt Lundberg who died in 2013 and two brothers Roger Payne and Justin Payne.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Eleanor’s family on Monday November 28, 2016 from 4:30-6:30 pm in the BRITTON-SHREWSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Burial will be held privately in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, (stjude.org).
