Robert L. “Bob” Bolivar, 77, of Auburn died Friday May 19, 2017 in UMASS Medical Center- University Campus.

Bob was born in Worcester and raised in Auburn son of the late Guy and Frances E. (Hicks) Bolivar. He graduated from Auburn High School.

He leaves his wife, Elaine J. (Elkinson) Bolivar; a son Wayne G. Bolivar and his fiancée, Elizabeth Bailey of Auburn; a brother, Raymond Bolivar of Worcester and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by nine siblings.

Bob had worked as Machinist for many years for Morgan Construction before he retired. Throughout Bob’s life he made time to enjoy a good round of golf, bowling with his friends and camping trips with his family.

Bob’s family would like to send heartfelt thanks to Bob’s caregivers for the past two years, Patrisha, Sean and Gabrielle.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Bob’s family on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 9:00-11:00 am in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn followed by a funeral service honoring his life at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
