Obituary for Frank John DiPilato

Frank John  DiPilato
Frank J. DiPilato, 86, of Auburn died Sunday, July 16, 2017 in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence surrounded by his loving family.

Frank was born in Worcester son of the late Carlo and Maria (Musci) DiPilato. He graduated from Commerce High School in and attended PRI in New York.

Frank had worked at Wyman-Gordon for over 38 years before he retired in 1991. After retiring Frank and his wife Marie traveled throughout the continental United States and Europe. Also, Frank enjoyed his weekly golf outing with the retirees from Wyman Gordon

His wife Marie C. (Morin) DiPilato died in 2014. He leaves a son John F. DiPilato of Thompson; a daughter, Ann M. Taylor and her husband Richard of Worcester with whom Frank lived; a brother, Leo DiPilato of Auburn; four grandchildren, Jessica Joslyn of Auburn, Kerri Charbonneau of Worcester, Garrett and Madison DiPilato; two great grandchildren, Faith and Michael; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides his wife he is predeceased by three brothers, Nicholas, Dominic and Anthony and two sisters, Rose Collaro and Mildred DiPilato.

Frank was a faithful member of Saint Joseph’s Church in Auburn; a member of the Knight of Columbus; a member of the Westborough Country Club and a true member of the Red Sox and Patriot Nation.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Frank’s family on Thursday July 20, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 am in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St, Auburn. A funeral Mass will follow and will be celebrated at 11:00 am in Saint Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street North, Auburn. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
