Anna (Rymka) “Ann” LeClair, beloved wife of Paul P. LeClair passed away after a brief illness on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Care One at Millbury.

Mrs. LeClair was the daughter of the late Helen “Elena” and Alexander Rymka. Born in Salem, Massachusetts, she grew up in Pittsfield, Massachusetts where she graduated from Pittsfield High School and St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing. Following her marriage, she and Paul made their home in Auburn in the house they had built. They resided there for 53 years. Due to declining health, they moved to Eddy Pond East, an assisted living facility in February of this year.

A registered nurse for many years, in 1965 she was honored by the Rotary Club of Worcester with the “Service Above Self Award.”

Mrs. LeClair leaves several nieces and nephews and their children. Mr. Thomas Coffill, Ann’s nephew, of Salem, Massachusetts was her primary caretaker. Other nephews include Michael, James and Richard Amaral of Pittsfield, and Joseph Coffill of Lawrence and nieces Joyce Wendling of Dalton and Linda Dinger of Cincinnati, Ohio. She was predeceased by her sisters Mary Coffill, Sophie Sicard, Lillian Amaral, her brother John Rymka and niece Mary Ann Goodreau.

Family and friends are invited to visit with Anna’s family on Wednesday August 16, 2017 from 2:00-3:00 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. A prayer service will immediately follow at 3:00 pm. Burial will be at a later date.
