MaryAnn  Malone
MaryAnn (Horgan) Malone, 55, died Monday October 16, 2017 after being stricken ill.

MaryAnn was born in Worcester, daughter of Francis and Gertrude (Tobin) Horgan. She graduated from Auburn High School and later attended Brom’s Beauty Academy in Worcester.

MaryAnn had worked for the past 30 years as the hairstylist for the Briarwood Adult Community on East Mountain Street in Worcester. She lovingly cared for two salons at that facility and greeted her clients each day with a smile. She also had several interests including crocheting, knitting and traveling to her “happy” place York Beach in Maine.

She leaves her husband, Robert E. Malone; a daughter, Caitlyn A. Malone of Longmeadow and a son Patrick H. Malone of North Brookfield; her parents, Francis and Gertrude (Tobin) Horgan of Auburn; two brothers, Thomas F. Horgan and his wife, Lisa of San Antonio, TX and Timothy P. Horgan and his wife, Liz of Charlton; also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and friends. She was predeceased by a sister, Joanne Horgan and a brother, Steven Horgan.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with MaryAnn’s family on Wednesday October 25, 2017 from 4-7 pm in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St, Auburn. Her funeral will be on Thursday October 26, 2017 with a funeral Mass celebrated at 10 am in Saint Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street North, Auburn. Burial will be in North Cemetery, Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MAlone Family Fund, c/o, North Brookfield Savings Bank 9 Gilbert Street, North Brookfield, MA 01535.
