Carol A. (Nash) Wyrzykowski, 71 of Auburn died Tuesday November 7, 2017 with her loving family by her side

Carol was born in Worcester daughter of the late Albert and Phyllis (Barbato) Nash. She graduated from Leicester High School and Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing.

Carol started her nursing career having worked in several area institutions and had been the Director of Nursing at the Blair House of Worcester. Carol was still working at the time of her death.

She leaves behind her loving family, fiancé Jim Nugent; two children, Michael A. Wyrzykowski and his wife Beckett Augat of Princeton and Jennifer L. Lapierre of Holland, MA; three grandchildren, Jordan and Camryn Lapierre and Nash Wyrzykowski; a brother, Alan Nash of Spencer; two sisters, Ann Coomey of Leicester and Susan Ward of Boxford; brother-in-law, Paul Wyrzykowski of Ashland and several nieces and nephews.

Carol enjoyed spending time at Hampton Beach in New Hampshire and at Foxwoods when she was able.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Carol’s family on Sunday November 12, 2017 from 2-4 pm in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral will be on Monday, November 13, 2017 with a funeral Mass celebrated at 10 am in Saint Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street, North Auburn. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery Worcester.
