Obituary for Virginia L. Mason (Coates)
Virginia L. (Coates) Mason, 82, of Oxford died Thursday November 16, 2017 in Webster Manor Nursing Home in Webster after an illness.
Virginia was born in Dudley, North Carolina daughter of the late Edgar and Minnie Lee (Faircloth) Coates. She graduated from Brogden High School in North Carolina.
She leaves her children, Deborah Fields-Quinn and her partner Michael Trainor, Kenneth R. Fields and his wife Sandi, and Robert P. Sandman and his wife Robin; five grandchildren, Meaghan Fields, Ash-Lee Fields Quinn, Richard Curtis and his wife Jesse, Ryan Sandman, and Rachel Sandman; a brother, Everett Coates and his wife Joyce; also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Tracey S. Lange and a sister, Rowena Williams.
Virginia had worked many years as a nail technician for area salons.
At Virginia’s request services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
