Obituary for Salvatore J "Sal" Luco

The song has ended but the melody lingers on…
With heavy hearts we mourn the passing of our beloved Salvatore J. “Sal” Luco, 75, of Auburn who fought a valiant fight with cancer for several years.

In later years he worked as a courier at Fallon Clinic where he brought the joy of singing to the patients and staff until his retirement.

Sal shared his beautiful voice with thousands of people at clubs, churches, and corporate functions. He spent several summers singing at the Cape and in Maine. Sal also spent many beautiful Sunday’s singing at Bethel Lutheran Church in Auburn. He was a member of Worcester County Light Opera, EnteActors Guild and several other community theater groups.

Sal leaves his beloved sister, Rosella and her husband Neil DeVincenzo of Oradell, NJ, his partner of 50 years, John F. Kallio and John’s family who were very dear to him. He leaves his god daughters, Bethann Valentine and Caitlin Hersey and many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.
