Gregory L. "Greg"  Dumas
AUBURN - Gregory L. Dumas, 59, of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, formerly of Auburn died peacefully Thursday, November 30, 2017. Greg has lived the last decade of his life residing in Old Orchard Beach.

Greg was born in Worcester and raised in Auburn to the late Edward and Ruth (McLaughlin) Dumas. He graduated from St. John's High School in Shrewsbury.

Greg was predeceased by his wife Marjorie L. (Hardy) Dumas. He leaves behind his three children, Theresa Stone and her husband Ryan of Spencer, Stephen Dumas and his partner Faith Whitney of Auburn, and Rachel Dumas and her partner Peter Smith of West Newfield, ME; seven grandchildren, Sydney Googins, Tyler Stone, Peter Smith, Isaac Smith, Benjamin Stone, Michael Stone and Nathan Stone; his brother Philip E. Dumas of Auburn; two aunts, Jean McLaughlin of Florida and Florence McLaughlin of Auburn, a cousin, Geoffrey McLaughlin, several nieces and nephews; and close family friend, Barry J. Foss of Auburn. Greg is predeceased by two sisters, Mary E. Vail and Paula D. Vrba and a cousin, Peter J. Dumas.

Greg cherished the time with his grandchildren. His best times were spent at Powder Horn Family Camping Resort enjoying his trailer with some of his great friends. Greg was known for his infectious laugh and kindness to others. His friendly and sociable personality allowed him to make friends everywhere he went. Whether it was a cup of coffee on his picnic table or a long-distance call Greg valued time with those he held dear.

A calling hour for Greg will be Friday, December 8, 2017 from 10:00-11:30AM in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St., Auburn followed by a graveside service at 12:00 PM in Hillside Cemetery, (Evergreen Section) 65 Central St., Auburn.
