Kenneth I. Smith, 64, of Worcester died peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at his residence with his wife Annette at his side after a three year battle with cancer.

Born in Worcester, Kenneth was the son of the late Gerard I. Smith and Marjorie A (Stone) Tucker. He grew up in Auburn and was a graduate of Auburn High. Kenneth worked for many years as a foreman for Mirra Construction Company. Hunting, fishing and camping were his favorite pass-times and he was avid fan of all Boston Red Sox and Patriots.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Annette H. (DiTullio) of 16 years, children Sheryl K. Spafford and her husband Eric of Worcester, Brian K. Smith and his wife Kyle of Inverness, Florida, their mother Deborah Nordstrom of Inverness, Florida, his brother Stephen C. Smith and his wife Deborah of Maynard, two nephews Zachary and Jessy, nine grandchildren, and his best friend Walter Place of Cape Cod.

A Celebration of Kenneth’s life, will be held privately.
