Obituary for Robert G. Fenning

Robert G. Fenning 87, of Auburn died Tuesday February 20, 2018, at St. Vincent's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born in Worcester, son of the late John E. and Claire I. (Tremblay) Fenning. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School.

Mr. Fenning had been employed as a truck driver for both, J.J. Nissen Bakery Inc and Sun Transport, both in Worcester. He also worked as a burner technician for ACE Temperature Control and in his retirement years, as clerk for Price Chopper.

Robert was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing horseshoes and golf. He was a longtime member of the Auburn Sportsman’s Club. He was also an avid Red Sox fan.

He leaves his wife of 65 years, Priscilla A. (LaForest) Fenning; three children, Donna L. Lemovitz and her husband Dean of Worcester, Barry E. Fenning and his wife, Jean M. Kelly of North Brookfield and Cindy A. Enman and her husband John of Auburn; seven granddaughters, Danielle Raymond, Dara Prunier, Dawn Lemovitz, Jessica Jones, Dena Fenning, Lyndsay Reece and Taylor Fenning; twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; he is also survived by a sister, Joan Nunnally, of Mercer, Maine. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Fenning and a sister, Barbara Fenning.

Calling hours and funeral services for Mr. Fenning will be held privately in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St, Auburn.
