Doris H  Polenski (Guyette)
Doris H. (Guyette) Polenski, 96, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Christopher House in Worcester. She was the wife of the late John T. Polenski.

Born, raised and educated in Northbridge, Doris was the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (Pottie) Guyette. She attended high school in Northbridge and soon went to work. In 1945 she first met John and they married in 1946. They settled in Auburn where they started their family.

Doris devoted her time to her family, truly enjoyed providing for their needs and spending time with them. She was most proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her spare time, Doris enjoyed challenging crossword puzzles, painting, playing the organ and singing. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph parish for some 70 years.

She is survived by her children, Michael Polenski and his wife Marsha of Bluffton, South Carolina, Lynda Carroll of Mashpee, Deborah Polson and her husband Bradford of Auburn, Stephen Polenski and his wife Michele of Auburn, and Doreen DuPont and her partner Michael Boutillette of Leicester, 14 grandchildren, Kelly, Brian, Matt, Michael, Amy, Eric, Holly, Julianne, JJ, Sarah, Rob, Nicole, Heather, and David, and 12 great grandchildren, brother in law, Theodore Polenski and his wife Anna, and several nieces and nephews.

Doris was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph Guyette, James Guyette, and Gerald Guyette and her son-in-law Terry Carroll.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Doris on Monday, April 30 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, 189 Oxford Street, North, Auburn. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton following her Funeral Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations be made in Doris’ memory to the Alzheimer's Assocation, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452 or Arthritis Foundation, 29 Crafts St # 450, Newton, MA 02458.
