Obituary for Lloyd Frank Boucher

Lloyd Frank Boucher, 78, died peacefully on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at his home with his loving family at his side. Lloyd was the husband of Catherine (Sullivan) Boucher.

Born in Worcester, the son of Frank H. and Bernice E. (Gaulin) Boucher, Lloyd was raised in Worcester and was a Commerce High School Graduate, class of 1958. Soon after graduation, Lloyd went to work in the automotive industry. He was the Manager for C&T Auto Parts in Worcester for many years. After retirement, Lloyd devoted much of his time volunteering for the Auburn Senior Center, something he truly enjoyed.

In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, playing cards, listening to country music, and sharing his vast skills as a handy man to anyone in need. Lloyd also enjoyed traveling, particularly those camping adventures in New Hampshire and Maine. Those memories were always cherished by him as they meant having his family near him.

In addition to his wife Catherine with whom Lloyd shared 30 wonderful years in marriage, he is survived by his children, Kevin Boucher and his wife Donna of California, Kym Murdock and her husband Robert Quaiel of Dudley, and Walter Boucher and his partner Terri Reil of Southbridge, one brother Clyde Boucher of Las Vegas, Nevada, grandchildren, Katlyn, Erin, Jacob, and Sarah, three great grandchildren, Ava, Ryan, and Madison and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, June 23 between the hours of 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Lloyd’s Life at 3:00 PM in the chapel of the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. In lieu of flowers, donation in Lloyd’s memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Road, #200, Framingham, MA 01701.
