Obituary for Constance A "Connie" Gregory (Anderson)

Constance A "Connie"  Gregory (Anderson)
Constance “Connie” A. (Anderson) Gregory, 89, of Charlton and formerly of Auburn died peacefully on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton. She was the beloved wife of 62 years of the late Paul A. Gregory, Sr who predeceased her in 2011.

Connie is survived by her children Kathleen Czechowski, of Webster, Paul Gregory, Jr., of Auburn, Nancy Eisnor, of Charlton, Patricia Gaspie of Oxford, Richard Gregory of Webster; 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brothers Paul Anderson, John Anderson, and Richard Anderson.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Ellen (Doherty) Anderson. She graduated from Auburn High School. In 1949 Connie and Paul were married and settled in Auburn where they began their family.

She worked for more than 20 years at the Big Discount Grocery Store as a cashier and enjoyed giving of her time volunteering at the VNA Thrift Shop, St Joseph’s Church and at the Auburn Senior Center for many years.

Her favorite pastime was swimming with her friends at the Mayflower Senior Center Pool on the Cape where she truly enjoyed spending her summers.

Connie’s family wishes to thank all of the staff at Overlook Masonic Health Center for the wonderful care and love she received during her stay there.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours for Connie on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn, MA. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
