Frederick “Fred” R. Wurl, 89, of Shrewsbury, formerly of Northborough died Monday, July 13, 2015 in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.

His wife, Evelyn L. (Hebert) Wurl died in 2010. He is survived by several cousins in the local area. Frederick was born, raised and educated in New York, son of the late Frederick and Minnie (Gilbert) Wurl.

Fred and his wife, Evelyn lived many years in Northborough before moving to Shrewsbury in 1983. He worked as a Salesman in the Food Industry before he retired.
