I'll never forget this lovely person. Recall growing up, that she lived at the corner of Jennings Road and Harvey lane. She went about her business quietly and serenely; didn't walk, but seemed to float thru the halls of WHS, with the grace and serenity of an angel! Her loving Husband Allen (Barney) senior, was killed on Saturday, September 9th, 1967; shortly after their son was born! . . .a heartbreaking, devastating, tragic circumstance; through which, I'm sure, she emerged emotionally shattered and broken. Such an overwhelming loss; a sad beginning for a loving mother and her precious son! I met her uncle - a math teacher from Grafton - at Saint Luke's cemetery one afternoon - perhaps twenty five years ago. We spoke for some time. He was remarkably gracious, and was so proud of Nancy! Nancy, never knew you well. Still, sister, I am so sorry that you had to die! Peace to your loving heart. May you rest in peace forever, dear, amen! May the Good Lord bless, R. Kane
