Obituary for Regina L DiPadua
Regina L. (Sadowski) DiPadua, 93, of Shrewsbury died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in her home surrounded by her beloved husband and children.
Regina was born in Paxton, daughter of the late Alexander and Sophie (Wachal) Sadowski. She graduated from Commerce High School. Regina then met the love of her life, Michael G. DiPadua. They married after he came home from W.W. II and moved to Shrewsbury where they built their own home and started their family.
Regina enjoyed being a stay at home mom and devoted wife to husband. For many years Regina was the nurse maid to neighborhood kids on Worthington Avenue. She and her husband enjoyed going to yard sales, taking the family to Hampton Beach and cooking and entertaining for the entire family.
She leaves her husband of 68 years Michael G. DiPadua; two children, Donna J. Hunter of Auburn and Ronald M. DiPadua of Shrewsbury; former son-in-law, Gary E. Hunter of Worcester; three grandchildren, Jeremy M. Hunter of Auburn Ryan P. Hunter and his wife, Charleen of Stillwater, NY and Ashley R. Hunter of Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri; two great grandchildren, Anthony and Joseph Spanswick; Regina’s and Mike’s Angel, Tina Senay-Martin of Auburn; two sisters, Elizabeth Anger of Worcester and Dorothy Turgeon of Millbury; also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters and a brother.
At Regina’s request funeral services will be held privately. BRITTON-SHREWSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 648 Main St, Shrewsbury is assisting the DiPadua family with arrangements.
