The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of David Shaw can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

My dear nephew, I am so sorry to have not spent more time with you. It was maybe 5 years ago or more since I last saw you. Who would know that would be the last time we spent together? Richie was lucky too, he got to see you. Jack also spent some good moments with you. I am sorry you had a short life and that you struggled with difficulties. But your parents provided you with many of lives pleasures and you have experienced many good times with family and friends. Your parents have many good memories of you and made a wonderful collage showing how well you did live. We all enjoyed viewing this wonderful collage. You will remain in our hearts forever David. You were very sweet and innocent, you will not be forgotten. Forever your Auntie and Uncle Vivian and Isaac from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
