Polly and John

Polly and I taught together in Southborough, she was one of the kindest and most giving persons I have ever known. She helped me with cooking ideas, cleaning tips and even helped me reupholster my living room furniture. But mostly, she talked about her three daughters and her husband John. She adored your father. I remember going over to your beautiful home on Kennilworth St. It was decorated with her tole paintings, pillows and other things she made, it was so homey and comfortable. She told me John painted one side of the house together and they redid a room together almost every year. Polly loved John unconditionally, she almost spoke of him with a reverence in her voice. Your dad and my husband played basketball together in an adult league, my husband always said what a great guy he was. I was at a restaurant a few years ago and your dad stopped me as I was leaving. He asked if I taught with Polly and of course I responded I did. We had a nice conversation about my family and his. He was always so proud of you girls and your accomplishments. Your parents are two of the nicest, caring and giving people I had in my life, it was a gift to know them. My sincere condolences on the passing of your dad, he was a great guy. Pat Pastner
