Obituary for Joseph A. Buckley

Joseph A. Buckley, 79, of Pakachoag Street died Thursday, October 6 in his home after an illness.

He leaves his beloved wife Catherine (Duckert) Buckley, four loving daughters; Cynthia Buckley of Auburn, Hollybeth Buckley Bingham and her husband Clark of Lawrence, Kansas, Victoria Buckley of Lawrence Kansas and Lydia Buckley and her husband Jack Johnson with whom he lived, a brother Robert Buckley of New York, a sister Eileen Buckley of New York, two grandchildren Alexander Bingham Buckley and Anthony Johnson and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Alfred Buckley.
Mr. Buckley was born in Brooklyn, New York, son of Joseph A. and Annamae (Ekerman) Buckley. He graduated from Brooklyn Polytechnical High School. He was a software engineer for many years; throughout his career, he worked as a Navy Contractor and at companies including Honeywell, Boeing, Polaroid, IBM and Fenwal Safety Systems. He enjoyed music especially guitar and piano, jogging, watching Seinfeld and writing.
