Obituary for David A. Nurse

David A. Nurse
AUBURN: David A. Nurse, 61, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in his sister’s home after an illness.
He leaves his sister Deborah G. Nurse and her husband Leonardo Topa of Auburn, two nephews Matthew and James Topa of Auburn, his niece Meighan R. Ruschioni and a great-niece Chloe E. Ruschioni of Leominster, and his sister-in-law Michelle J. Nurse of Longmeadow. He was pre-deceased by his brother James K. Nurse.

David was born in New London, CT, son of Raymond P. and Barbara (Sherman) Nurse. An 11th generation New Englander, he was as independent as his Colonial and American Revolutionary ancestors. He worked on his family farm for many years. He loved animals, the outdoors, reading, and restoring cars. He travelled the world with his brother Jim, and later worked with him at Longmeadow Stone and Restoration. Kind and soft-spoken, he lovingly cared for his parents for many years when their health began to decline.
