WORCESTER- Phyllis A. (McGovern) Mulcahy, 90, died peacefully Friday, January 27, 2017 in St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Her husband John F. Mulcahy, Jr. died in 2009. She leaves three sons; John F. Mulcahy, III of Worcester, Thomas P. Mulcahy and his wife Deborah of Auburn and James D. Mulcahy and his wife Patricia of Carthage, North Carolina, two brothers; Walter McGovern of Worcester and Edmond McGovern of Worcester, five granddaughters; Kelly, Heather, Tara, Shauna & Caelyn, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was born in Worcester, daughter of Edmond and Anna (Smith) McGovern. She married the love of her life and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed ceramics, crafts and reading. Her Catholic faith was a very important part of her life. She was most happy when spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Services and Burial are private. BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
