Obituary for Stephen B Beaudry



Stephen B Beaudry, 92, formerly of Farmington Street in Worcester died Saturday January 28, 2017 in Knollwood Nursing Center in West Boylston.

Stephen was born in Springfield, MA son of the late Charles and Nellie (Bartlett) Beaudry. He graduated from Marlboro High School and Vocational School where he studied to be a machinist. Stephen enlisted in the Unites States Navy where he served his country proudly during W.W. II.

He had worked as a Senior Tool Engineer at Lindquist Tool and Manufacturing Company in Worcester for over 30 years before he retired.

Stephen was a member of good standing with the Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts, and was a member for over 70 years with the United Brethren Lodge of Masons in Marlborough. In his retirement years, he enjoyed working with stained glass, making doll houses, traveling extensively and spending quite time with his dog Amy. He delighted in spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and was very proud of the people they have become.

His wife of 45 years, Constance (Taillon) Rossetti Beaudry died in 2009. He leaves behind his children, Mark Beaudry and his wife Debra of Charlton, Christina Eckelkamp and her husband Steven of North Brookfield, Frank Rossetti, Jr. and his wife Donna of Cherry Hill, NJ, and Pamela Rossetti of Shrewsbury; nine grandchildren, Mark, David, Anthony, Frankie, Isabella, Angela, Allison, Stephanie and Leslie; eight great-grandchildren, Rae, Mariah, Anthony, Nina, Camden, Nolan, Ellis and Delphine; also, survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Rossetti and a sister, Betty Beaudry and his first wife, Betty L. (Parmenter) Beaudry.

The Beaudry family wishes to thank the entire staff of Summit Elder Care on Grafton St and Knollwood Nursing Center for all the compassionate care and concern that was given to Stephen during his illness.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Stephen’s family on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 10-11 am in BRITTON- WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am. Burial with military honor will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, West Boylston. Memorial donations may be made to Summit Elder Care, 1369 Grafton St, Worcester, MA 01604
