Obituary for John P. Belanger

Auburn- John P. Belanger, 68, died Friday, February 3, 2017 in Rose Monahan Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.
He leaves his beloved wife Jane (Ottaviano) Belanger, three sons; John P. Crowley and his wife Kelly of Worcester, Joshua P. Crowley and his wife Jessica of West Boylston and Jason P. Crowley and his wife Sara of Charlton, eight siblings; Ronald Belanger of Paxton, Michael Belanger and his wife Sharon of Oxford, Theresa Plante of Shrewsbury, Gina Jensen of Grafton, Dianne Bourget and her husband Alfred of Grafton, Marie Martinsen and her husband Gary of North Carolina, Patricia Coppellotti and her husband Orlando of Shrewsbury and Sheila Belanger of Leicester, six grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Owen, Benjamin, Matthew, Christopher and Nicholas, and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother Richard Belanger.
John was born in Worcester, son of Theodore and Geneva (Aubin) Belanger. He was a Co-Owner of Belanger Painting & Plastering. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He enjoyed gardening, quahogging with his late father-in-law while visiting Cape Cod, but mostly the time he spent with his grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with John’s family on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 PM in BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. His funeral will be Thursday from the funeral home with a funeral Mass celebrated at 10:00 AM at North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial with Military honors will follow in Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to VNA Hospice Care, Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Road, Worcester, MA 01602.
