Edward M.  Healy
Edward M. Healy, 86, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in UMass Memorial Hospital University Campus.
Ted leaves his wife of 62 years, Nina (Provencher) Healy, three children; Christopher M. Healy of Shrewsbury, Geoffrey E. Healy and his wife Kathy of Maryland, and Marianne H. Feroce and her husband Jonathan of Shelton, CT, two brothers; Bernard Healy, Jr. of Florida and Lamont Healy of Duxbury, three grandchildren; Georgia, Lily & Henry Feroce and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Healy was born in Braintree, son of Bernard E. and Emelie M. (Marchant) Healy. He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture in 1953. He worked with Healy, Healy, Dixon in Framingham, MA and then created TASC, Inc. in Worcester, MA. For many years Ted had been self-employed. He was a charter member and officer of the Worcester County Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI). He was awarded the CSI National Fellowship in 2009. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed designing his own Christmas cards and taking off-beat road trips with his wife and their friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Ted’s family on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 PM in BRITTON SHREWSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. His funeral will be Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from the funeral home with a Mass celebrated at 11:00 AM in St. Mary’s Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Worcester County Chapter CSI Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 2893, Worcester, MA 01613.
