AUBURN- Robert A Racine, 86 of Port St Lucie, FL, formerly of Auburn MA passed away on March 6, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Racine was born in Worcester, MA to Albert C. and Germaine L. Racine. One of three sons, his brother Richard Racine and his wife Claire reside in Yarmouth, MA, his brother Roger Racine and his wife Ann reside in Sterling, MA.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Marion B Simmons, of Plainville MA in March of 2000, the mother of his three children, Patricia Bartoli and her husband Christopher, of Auburn MA, Terese Lynch and her husband John, of Auburn MA, and Robert Racine Jr and his wife Laura of Richmond, VA. He also leaves six grandchildren, Matthew Landry, Joseph Landry, Sarah Lynch, Patrick Lynch, Nicholas Bartoli, and Charlotte Racine.

He leaves his fiancée, Jean M.S. Brinker, originally of Carteret, NJ with whom he has shared a 2nd life of love, devotion and commitment for 15 years. He loved the house they shared in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Mr. Racine was employed for nearly 45 years by the Worcester Insurance Company. He worked his way up, and at the time of his retirement, he held the position of President, C.O.O. of the company.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Robert’s family on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 9:00-10:30 AM in BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. His funeral will follow at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street North, Auburn. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
