I knew John in Junior High and High School. John was a friend of mine. I remember that John's first car was a 55 or 56 Pontiac that he called his "Pontoon". John and I both served in the Navy during Viet Nam. John on the carrier JFK and me on two WW2 era Destroyers. We ran into each other in Auburn after discharge. John was a great guy and over these past decades I have often thought of him. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. Gary Gilfoy Pacific Northwest
