Geraldine M. (Szklarz) “Gerrie” Jaworski, 66, of Auburn died on Wednesday July 19, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Gerrie was born in Worcester and raised in Auburn daughter of the late Henry and Helen Szklarz. She graduated from Auburn High School in 1968 and later from Salters Secretarial School.

Gerrie had worked for the College of the Holy Cross for over 20 years, retiring as an administrative assistant in the Chaplain’s Office.

She leaves her beloved husband and best friend, Paul E. Jaworski Sr., three sons, Mark E. Jaworski and his wife Audrey of Elverson, PA, Steven P. Jaworski and his wife Lisa of Douglas and Paul E. Jaworski, Jr., and his wife Christine of Pomfret Center, CT; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Jake, Courtney and Colin; two brothers, Robert and Daniel Szklarz both of Leicester; also survived by a longtime friend and shopping companion, Mary Dudley and many nieces and nephews.

Gerrie was a wonderful cook and enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her entire family.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Gerrie’s family on Tuesday July 25, 2017 from 8:30-10:30 am in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral will follow with a funeral Mass celebrated at 11:00 am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 596 Cambridge Street, Worcester, MA 01601. Burial will be private.
