Obituary for Alice E. Brossman (Balta)

Alice Brossman of Auburn Mass passed away on Monday July 24, 2017.

She was born in Dudley, MA, daughter of the late Stephen and Suzanna (Bachochin)Balta.

Her husband of 41 years Walerian Brossman predeceased her in 1990. Alice is survived by her four daughters, Cynthia Brossman of Cambridge, Kathryn Brossman-Kurtz and husband, Alan of Auburn, Illona Brossman-McIntire and husband, Gregory of Paxton, and Lisa Baldassarre and husband, Joseph of Auburn. Alices’s pride and joy of her life were her five grandchildren; Benjamin McIntire of Paxton, Corey McIntire of Dorchester, Patrick McIntire of Paxton, Dannielle Baldassarre of Auburn, and Michael Baldassarre of Auburn; she is also surived by nieces, Carol Faron and husband Robert of Sutton, Betty Jean Latour of Dudley, MA, Linda Smalarz and husband, Paul of Thompson, CT ; a nephew Steven Duquette and his wife Carmen of Mobile, AL . Alice also shared her life with special friends, Rachel and Frederick Wojick of N.Grosvenordale, CT and Robert Marcus and his wife, Ellen of Andover, MA. Besides her parents and husband, Alice was predeceased by her twin, Josephine Kasick, sisters, Anna Duquette, Sister M Martha, Eva Barre, and a brother Stephen Balta.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Alice’s family on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 am in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St, Auburn. A funeral Mass celebrating Alice’s life will follow at 11:00 am in St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford St, North, Auburn. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Hillside Cemetery, Auburn, MA.
