Beatrice I. “Bea” (Mixter) Millette Gaskell, 85 passed away on November 2, 2017.
She was the youngest of four children born to George and M. Blanche (Boucher) Mixter. She was the granddaughter of Harry and Julia (Prescott) Mixter. Bea was raised in Rutland, MA and lived in Auburn more than 50 years. She was an elementary school teacher in the town of Auburn for 27 years, teaching at Bryn Mawr and Julia Bancroft Schools.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia E. Lambert of Webster, her son Philip R. Millette and his wife Connie, of Rutland, three grandchildren, Richard A.(Buddy) Lambert, III and his wife Kate of Shrewsbury, Andrew C. Lambert of Webster, Ashley Cote and her husband Alex of Framingham, her brother- in- law, Bryan E. Millette and his wife Denise of Amesbury, and The Villages, FL, nieces, nephews and cousins. Bea is predeceased by a daughter, Sally (1962), her first husband, Richard (1964), her second husband, Frank (1993), and her siblings, Roland, Dolores, and Robert.

In accordance with Bea’s wishes there are no calling hours. Funeral services for Bea will be held privately. In lieu of flowers or donations the family wishes that you pay forward an act of kindness.
