Gladys E  Rembiszewski (Sydor)
Gladys E. (Sydor) Rembiszewski, 91, of Auburn died Saturday December 30, 2017 in the Life Care Center of Auburn after an injury.

She was born in Worcester and raised in Auburn daughter of the late Walter and Bessie (Rodnick)Sydor. Gladys attended Auburn Public School and graduated from Auburn High School with the class of 1944.

Gladys devoted her time to her family and worked as an inventory control clerk for Kaman Corp for over 21 years before she retired.

Her husband Charles Rembiszewski died in 1997. She leaves her loving family, Peter C. Rembiszewski of Auburn Paul J. Robinson and his wife Dorene of Grafton and Nancy A. Lane and her husband Ted of Fairhaven; two sisters, Theresa Tremblay of Webster and Bernice “Bunny” Pieleski of North Grafton and many loving nieces and nephews and dear to her heart, Abigail, Benjamin, Ethan, and Alden Lane. Besides her husband she is predeceased by a brother, Theodore Sydor.

Gladys loved spending her time with her entire family. She enjoyed taking day trips and visits to the beaches of New England and spent the winter months in Englewood, Florida. She enjoyed sewing and various types of needlework and was always up for the challenge of a good crossword or soduko puzzle.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass celebrating Gladys life on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church, 189 Oxford Street North, Auburn. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, and in Gladys’s memory, be kind to someone in need.
