Message to the Family: Roberta was a dear friend for over 40 years, starting with our meeting at graduate school. That friendship deepened considerably when she and Frank, Joanne and I all moved to Washington, and we met Chuck, who joined our merry band and married our dear friend Joanne. We shared a lot laughs and adventures, with life’s usual ups and downs. You four are so dear to me – I love you all.
