Eva M. (Lipkavich) Goodrow, 86, of Shrewsbury and formerly of Worcester died peacefully at the Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation center on Monday, May 21, 2018. She was the wife of the late Charles J. Goodrow, Jr.

Born and raised in Hudson, Eva was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Shusta) Lipkavich. On February 11, 1956 Eva and Charles were married and settled in the Worcester area where they stayed until 1997 at which time they moved to Shrewsbury.

During her career, Eva worked as a telephone operator and as an office worker. When not working, Eva loved to care for her family home. She enjoyed time spent with family and friends, most especially during holidays and special occasions.

Eva is survived by her son Kenneth Goodrow and his wife Charlene of Whitinsville, grandchildren Mary and Alexander Goodrow, her sister-in-law Marilyn Sturgis and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her siblings, Anna Belaska, John Belaska, Frank Belaska, Joseph Lipkavich, sisters-in-law Eileen Lipkavich and Dorothy Buxton.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Eva’s Family on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 4-7 PM at Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St, Shrewsbury. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 640 Main St, Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Worcester Country Memorial Park, 217 Richards Road, Paxton.
