Obituary for Thomas A "Tom" Norberg

Thomas A. “Tom” Norberg, 54, of Uxbridge, MA died on September 25, 2018.

A longtime resident of Auburn, he is survived by his parents Bror “Bill” and Denise (Cleary) Norberg of Auburn; a sister Debra Bousquet and her husband Leon of Whitinsville; and three brothers James Norberg and his wife Rachelle of Clearwater, FL; David Norberg and his wife Jackie of Uxbridge; and Michael Norberg and his wife Julie of Charlton. He is predeceased by a brother William Norberg of Douglas. Tom also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and a large extended family.

Tom worked for BAPS in Worcester as a delivery driver. He was most proud of his many years spent as an on-call firefighter for the Town of Auburn. Tom enjoyed caring and nurturing all the animals on his brother’s farm and fishing.

Calling hours for Tom will be held at BRITTON-WALLACE FUNEAL HOME, 91 Central St, Auburn on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm. Tom’s funeral will be on Tuesday October 2, 2018 from the funeral home with a procession to the North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom’s memory may be made to Auburn Fire Department 47 Auburn St, Auburn, MA 01501 or to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), 120 Wall Street, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10005.
