Ernest H. (Ernie) Prescott, Jr., 75, of Auburn and formerly of Worcester and W. Boylston died peacefully on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at his home. He was the son of the late Rosalie F. (Black) and Ernest H. Prescott, Sr.

He is survived by one brother Robert C. Prescott and his wife Margo of Rutland, nephew Brendon R. Prescott, and his niece Heather N. Prescott. He was predeceased by his sister Joyce Prescott.

Ernie worked at his families’ business, H. R. Prescott & Sons, later went to work at American Optical for many years. During the past ten years he and his brother operated their own business, Prescott Promotions. He served in the National Guard and was a member of the Chester P. Tuttle American Legion, Post #279 in Auburn and the Auburn Lions Club.

A celebration of Life Service will be held at the American Legion Post #318, 180 Greenwood Street, Worcester on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with the assistance of BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street in Auburn.
