Besides her husband she was predeceased by four siblings, Elizabeth Maxwell, Charles Gedraitis, Anthony Gedraitis, and Ruth Henry.

Irene had lived in the Auburn Community for all of her 95 years where she enjoyed her home, tending to her vegetable and flower gardens, sewing, baking, and watching her beloved Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. She and her husband Daniel took up the sport of skiing in their later years and spent time on the slopes with family and friends.

Prior to her retirement, Irene loved working as a baker at the Mary D. Stone Elementary School in Auburn. Previously she worked in the business offices of Marcus Clothing Store and Wyman Gordon both in Worcester.

She and her husband Daniel were founding member of the North American Martyrs’ Church in Auburn. Devoted to her faith Irene attended church weekly.

Irene’s funeral will be held privately for her family on Thursday January 3, 2019. Her burial will take place next to her husband in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. There are no calling hours.
