Condolence From: Joanne Kelley
Joseph Incorvati, known to his family as Joey, was my older brother. I remember him teasing me, tickling me until I cried, and sometimes he got into trouble with my father for doing it. When Daddy died I was 7 and Joey was 16 and Joey tried to fill my father’s shoes. While I fought him on that, I always felt his love. He was there for my mother too, took good care of her, and made sure she had whatever she needed.

As adults we never lived close to one another. Joey traveled a lot because of his work. When given the opportunity to go to Iran to run a hotel there, he took it. He lived a full life and was very successful. In addition, he was an accomplished musician.

After his stroke at the age of 50, his life changed. He must have done something right while raising Renee, because when he could no longer care for himself, she stepped in and filled the void, just as he had done for my mother.

My heart goes out to Renee as well as Betsy, Lynn and Carol. We are all saddened by his loss. Let us all pray that he is at peace and wish each other the same. Bye Joey, I loved you very much.
