She was a loving grandmother to Gina DePaoli of Burlington, Laura DePaoli of Boston, Andrea McDonough and her husband Brian of Woburn, Jeffrey DePaoli of Burbank, CA and Gregory DePaoli and his wife Veronica of Northborough, Ashley Lehner and her husband John of Sutton , Patrick and Kevin Noonan of Sutton, Anthony and Bianca DePaoli of Wilbraham. She cherished her new great-grandchildren Gabriel and Elizabeth DePaoli of Northborough. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews especially John Cosentino from Oxford whom she loved like a brother and all his family.

Josie always had a smile on her face, was warm, fun loving and loved ballroom dancing. She was a great cook and enjoyed making homemade Italian style pizza, spaghetti and meatballs with raisins, and pizzelle cookies. Everyone in the neighborhood loved her pizza and was included in all the social gatherings. Nobody left her home without eating something and had something to bring home. She had nurturing and compassionate ways about her and believed that family and friends were the most important. She had room in her heart for everyone she met.
She worked at Telechron, Slovin Slacks, and Frohock-Stewart until she retired. She joined the Shrewsbury Senior Center and went on all their bus and casino trips with friends and neighbors, and enjoyed vacationing at Cape Cod with family and friends during summers.
