Condolence From: Richard & Mary Seaman
Condolence: Dear Barbara & family, A truly remarkable man was your loved one, Dick. We are sorry to have missed his funeral, as, we are in Florida. Our son, Kevin, shared this tragedy with us upon his passing. Knowing Dick, we knew without a doubt, where he is now. Always a smile on his face, always lending a helping hand, a word of encouragement when needed. I, Mary, got to know Dick when I did RICA with him many years ago. He truly was a gentle person. You all were certainly blessed with a special man in your lives. We know that he now rests in peace.

Condolence: What a wonderful, remarkable man. Mr. Burton’s smile will be greatly missed but even more greatly remembered. It was a beautiful service, sermon, and eulogy. Many heartfelt condolences to the whole family. Thank you, Mr. Burton, for sharing a little bit of your “dash” with me. May you rest in well deserved peace.

Condolence: Barbara,
My prayers go out to you and your family at such a sad time of loss. It was a shock to all of us..even those of us who haven't seen you since our reunion! He was a wonderful life partner and the children were always such an important part of his life. I hope that they can wipe away your tears while those of us so far away can not. Hoping Jesus will walk with you and give you courage during these times. I am so sorry...…

Condolence: Many years ago I remember seeing and listening to Dick as he read scripture or made an announcement at a Mass at St. Joseph's Church. I remember thinking that he was an eloquent speaker and his message was strong and clear.
Then, about 16 years ago, I decided to join the Msg. Neary Knights of Columbus. The Knights and future Knights met in the St. Joes parking lot to drive to the Leicester Council 1st degree ceremony. I was in the same car as Dick. There wasn't much said on the trip out. But. coming home Dick asked me a lot of questions about a program that I was involved in - The Relay For Life. He was genuinely interested in the event.
That year, the Knights formed a team for the Relay, and, for the next 15 years that we participated in the event. Dick was one of the most active and supportive Knights.
He was also a spokesman for me when I became the Grand Knight. I could always depend on his guidance and council to help me throughout the year of my term.
Dick was also a tremendous help when my wife and I dealt with a difficult family issue regarding Medicaid.
My wife and I agree that there are few people we have known that have had as much positive influence on us as Dick.
He has been a friend, advisor, mentor, and Brother Knight.
He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Our most sincere condolences are sent to Barbara and his entire family.
