Condolence: Dear Jack, Mary, Pat, and Erin,
Please accept my sympathies on the passing of your dad. I will always remember him as a terrific educator, leader, and mentor. I have many positive and happy memories of my years at Shrewsbury High School working with and under the leadership and friendship of your dad. I regret that I cannot get to Shrewsbury to see you again and pay my respects in person but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Condolence: Dear Patricia, Jack, Mary, Patrick, Erin, and children, Cora and I share your grief at the death of John. In the Year I worked for John as Director of Mathematics in Shrewsbury I knew a man who combined strength and kindness in a way all educators strive for and few achieve. His intelligence never got in the way of his heart. In a long life I have met many wonderful people; few measure up to John (myself included) and none exceed him.
